Hi all.
I have had my tracking checked by the local garage. I took along the minor toe in measurements in both metric and imperial. However, their equipment measures the tracking in degrees, and despite looking around, I can't find anywhere how many degrees it should be toe in?
I am still convinced that the tracking is not correct as I have tyres wearing unevenly. To do it, they centralised the steering by looking at the steering wheel, and mine happened to be on the splines off centre, which meant that the initial setting was a bit of guess work. I would like to take it back for a re-check, but need to know how many degrees first.
Any ideas...?

Re: Tracking measurements?
Can't say specifically for the Minor but every other rear wheel drive car I've owned has been 2 degrees toe-in.

Re: Tracking measurements?
Why was the 'initial setting guess work' ?? Did they centre up the wheel on the splines, before setting the tracking? The track rods MUST be same length both sides before worrying about tracking, and then adjustments are made to both sides equally to set it correctly. You won't go wrong with 1 or 2 degrees toe IN.
