Flasher Unit

Post by randomafterthought »

Hi all,

It's been a long time since I was on here, as Gertie has been off the road due to one thing or another and moving half-way across the country. She also had an electrical issue which I have only just found time to fix. She's all good for her MOT, except that the indicator flasher unit has gone.

Does anyone know of a factor in the Greater Manchester area who might happen to have a 2 pole flasher for the indicators? There are many available online, in various guises, but I'd like to be able to go and buy one. Ideally I want her back on the road this week, and ordering online doesn't fit with my impatient timeframe :D

Thanks in advance.

Try Moss in Stockport, http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/aboutmoss/contactus.aspx
They will have the correct one.

Thank you :). They appear to have electronic ones on their site which should get her through MOT. I'll miss the clunk-ping noise, it was a good reminder to turn the indicator back off!

They do indeed! Good stuff :). I was clearly more drawn to the picture than with its two options, than the actual switches and controls menu. Looks like they've got a match for the Lucas one, so hopefully straight in to the mount.

Thank you again - greatly appreciate your help. It's odd when you've just moved, but the places you know you can get what you need are all 300 miles away.

David.
