Bagged the three kits for Christmas last year

The Maplins kit, only about £8

After assembly. Only one of the relays is actually needed on such a simple system.

The switch is normally mounted direct to the PCB but with limited space behind the dash I made my own remote, you can buy one from Maplins but I happened to have a length of multi-core cable handy.
The wiring instructions supplied in the kit are quite complicated (for me) but this is all you need.
Notice it is for negative earth vehicles.

Wiring for the remote switch.

Being a ham fisted lump I managed to blow the timer chip (more than once

One problem I had (on all the vehicles I fitted it to) was the wipers randomly flicked and stopped during operation when the engine was running and when I used the indicators, I put this down to 'interference' in the electrics and wired the PCB supply direct to a permanently live connection on the voltage regulator ( with an in-line fuse) instead of the fuse box and now it works perfectly.
The finished article.
I fitted the rotary switch in the blank on the switch panel

The knob is off a TR3 and again was cheap on ebay, I think it looks the part.
The timed sweeps are 5 seconds, 10 seconds and 20 seconds, I very rarely need to use the original switch anymore
