Collett clips

Hi chaps

I'm currently refurbishing my 1098 engine and after having the head and valves done I've list the collett spring clips.

Have you any ideas on alternatives as these are hard to come by.

Good news is -you don't need them! Just forget they ever existed...

That's what I thought. They appear to be self anchoring with pressure from the print but wasn't quite sure.

Most other makes of car don't have them. Valve spring force should/will keep them in place!

Yes! Along with the lifting lugs, the bee-hive springs, and one of the brake drum retaining screws from each hub.....

Thanks for reminding me, I was trying to recall the others when the beehive springs were discussed recently!! You mind that motor doesn't fall to bits one day
