Heater Fan

My 1970 heater fan wont work, i have power and earth, how do i get the fan out?

Are you sure that it is wired correctly, I believe that it is earthed into another component, possibly the wipers.

It may the same fault as mine - the switch failed. I wired in a 'temporary' replacement in parallel with the existing one years ago, and still haven't got around to replacing the original!
