rear susspension finaly done

Post by moggymate »

hi there to all
I have finally done my rear leaf spring kit I got from esm with poly bushes
I was dreading doing it as I have not done anything like this before but I was lucky because I did not have to cut any of the bolts they all came of fairly easy really which I was grateful for

I did manage to buy a whole box of whitworth and a/f spanners from a old chap for £45.00 which to be honest was very well needed
but there is sizes in the box that 100% will not fit the morris they are huge as big as 45 & 50 mm roughly

p.s the man I bought the spanners from as also got some new and old diesel compression testers some even made by bluepoint
also as a tyre tread cutting tool not heard of one of these before

the man is a retired engineer so he as decided to sell of is tools so if any one is looking for some thing please mail me and I will ask him
regards
Darren

Well done! Just sell the larger tools if you don't have a use for them.

Nice job :)

Nothing I need toolwise, but spanners/sockets other than metric and AF are becomming quite sought after these days. I know plenty of people who got rid of them years ago when things went metric but are now buying them back again for classic cars and bikes.
Glad to be back!
