the car came with a lot of spares , dash looks standard ish but is the indicator button the right one ? its brown but I also have a white one , which is correct , thanks its under the dash on the right , also should the dip swith be on the floor as it looks like it has been next to the indicator switch

Your trafficator switch is correct for a 2 door series 2. As you say the dip should be on the floor, would love to see some more snaps :D

Do you have trafficators, indicators or both? The switch to the right is for the trafficators and the foot dip switch appears to be hanging down beside it with a blanking plate on the floor where the dip switch should be. There is also a non standard switch next to the wiper switch by the windscreen.

the none standard switch is for the washers , some one had moved the dip switch to the dash (I thought it should be on the floor) the car has trafficators and indicaters fitted , not sure if the indicaters where standard but now fitted they can stay as it might be a good idea , looks like the heater (smiths) does not take air from out side .

the early smiths heaters dont have an external intake for air, its correct for 1953

it was mounted next to the indicator switch , but the bracket has snapped , why I have no idea

Perhaps a 'short' person couldn't reach it with their foot!
