steering rack?

Hi

How easy or hard is it to change the steering rack on the moggie?

I have ball joint/track rod end splitter

It's a bit of a footer - but perfectly possible. Are you sure it needs changing? The inner track rod joints can be adjusted in situ..

Tthe awkward part is getting at the bolts in the triangle above the chassis legs

Eh? Must be different on the early cars - on the later ones the bolts go through the floor and are easily accessible after the carpet has been lifted under the parcel shelf. However, holding both the bolt and the nut is really a two person job.
