Channel 4's 'For The Love of Cars' seeks Minor LCVs

Post by ForTheLoveOfCars »

Hello all,
My name is Rob Kelly, I'm working on the new series of Channel 4's For The Love Of Cars. If you're not familiar with the series, it's essentially about celebrating iconic, everyday cars.

I'm really keen to put together an item on Minor LCVs and was hoping to track down some owners that have a strong personal connection with their van.... Perhaps they drove it during their career and then sought one and restored it in retirement... Their parents might have driven one everyday for 20 years and now passed it onto their children... anything to illustrate their love and passion for these wonderful vans.

If anyone has any suggestions of interesting stories/people surrounding LCVs, I'd love to hear for you.

Please feel free to either post a reply or email me directly at robert.kelly@loveproductions.co.uk

Many thanks!

I know of a few folks who have Minor LCV's. I hope you are paying the industry standard of £100 per day for filming plus expenses????
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

Give the guy a chance, he may well be paying, and if not, fair enough, those who want money needn't apply. There are people around who would just like to feature their vehicles, and good luck to them.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your interest. I'm not really looking to hire vehicles for the day, more to meet enthusiasts that have a story to share. I'd be happy to discuss covering expenses with anyone that is interested in taking part, but we won't be paying 'fees' to access vehicles.

If you contact Rosie Hamilton, the club public relations officer, she will probably be able to help: rosie.hamilton (at) mmoc.org.uk
