Will depend a bit on your local regulations, what is/is not allowed; and also whether you fitted an alternator. It is possible to spend a lot of money and upgrade to halogens of a much higher wattage, but your need to have the alternator and some heavier wiring too, possibly switching through a relay. Driving lamps rather than fog lamps will help too, but again depends on regulations.

How much night driving do you do Sandun? And are the lights aimed correctly ? Are they the old headlamps with a bulb - or 'sealed beam' type? The older type can be fitted with a halogen bulb - which will be a worthwhile improvement -assuming the reflectors are in good order.

Sounds like sealed beam headlights then - you would need the complete 'halogen' kit. Something like this one - if you drive on the left ride of the road ??? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7inch-H4-Halo ... 5d332e2c3c

LHD sealed beams are still in production and should be easy to find in most auto parts stores in Sri Lanka. Get the halogen ones for better light and if this doesn't do it then there might be something wrong with the electrical system.

Clean all contacts/ connectors/ earth mounting points. Check the sub-loom wiring to the front lamps for high resistance, ditto main loom. Check the dip-switch is working correctly (see other thread on this)
