Traveller Rear Door Hinge

Post by redduster »

I am fitting new refurbishment parts, as supplied by ESM, to the rear hinges of our traveller. Is their any particular tightness or torque setting for these or just tighten them until the spring disappears into the bottom of the lowest hinge?

:-?

Just do them up and as long as your happy with the alignment/opening and closing that will do it...

Don't overtighten them! Just enough is enough.. Then test the doors till you are happy/no rattling. I fitted plastic washers under the old balls to lift the doors slightly and take up the wear - works well and they can't be seen.
