another question re my 948 to 803 gearbox conversion ,i was just wondering if it's best to put the 803cc speedo gears in or the 948cc ones , i have got to change the speedo as i have a 4.22 diff fitted ,

The 948, 1098 and 1275 have the same speedo drive pinion ratio so you can fit the correct tpm speedo for whichever diff you have fitted, 4.55, 4.22 or 3.9.
However the 803 box has a different drive pinion ratio so there is no direct speedo tpm to fit a different diff unless you change the drive gear in the box.

And since you are changing all the 948 parts into the 803 casing - the scroll will go with them !
