Just seen this on ebay. Seems to be a good honest seller; let's hope it finds the right home.

Re: 1952 Split Screen
he doesn't mention if it's a sidevalve in there, as he says replacemnet engine but no mention of what the engine is :S true looks an honest seller tho!
Re: 1952 Split Screen
Have you seen the floor - i think it might need more than a welder!!
Mind you the rest of the car looks ok

Re: 1952 Split Screen
Seller has made plenty of reference to it needing extensive welding repairs. Also that it has the side valve.
Re: 1952 Split Screen
brave man to take that on,but probably good for spares.
Re: 1952 Split Screen
it's got a sidevalve engine in as I messaged the seller, he's going to put a engine bay pic on

Re: 1952 Split Screen
Looks a great original car, with the right MM parts and early seats. Ok a lot of welding but its just the usual sills, spring hangers, cross member ends etc. If I had time and space for another project I'd be after it...
cheers
Iain

Make sure the vendor swops the id plates!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!
