1965 2 door - Lionel
Hi everyone! Just thought I would post about what i've been doing. Lionel was/is in need of some TLC and well, it's summer quite a few new parts have been bought so I will add all the pictures as I take them. Some of you might know me as the youngest member but for you's that don't I a 14 year old girl (Becca) from Northern Ireland, so this can be quite a big (and weird) job for someone at my age but with the right help from the right people I'm great! I will post as many pictures as possible......... Enjoy

As you can see the rot is very bad! This had just been filled in with filler for quite a while until we got a new door sorted. I got one last year at national and it is hopefully going on in the next few weeks.[frame][/frame]

Hello Becca, from another young member ;)
Your door has seen better days, most have! I'm not looking forward to doing this job on the Traveller, the doors will probably have to come off. But they fit and shut so well!
Well done for coming to your senses and getting a Minor first. My first was a Ford GPW, restored it when I was 12-14, then realised no insurer would insure me so had to sell it!

Re: 1965 2 door - Lionel
Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been so busy recently. I would just like to thank everyone who helped me with lionel, he made it to the ni branch regional rally! I will need to redo the bonnet as the isopon didn't harden properly, meaning we could get it as smooth as would be liked, But it is painted and new door and chrome fitted![frame][/frame]
