Hopefully a simple question. Would front and rear seats from a 4 door saloon fit straight into a 2 door saloon?
Thanks.
Seat fitment question.

Re: Seat fitment question.
Guess whose got some 2 door seats rears going sparish... AND looking for some 4-Door ones.
From Memory (1000 SIII only)
Front Seats common across all UK ranges (Van ones often more basic) Half Folding Seats more useful along with the adjustable seats.
Rear Seats and Squabs. Travellers Will Only Fit Travellers, 2 Door Only Fit Two Door, and Four Door only Fit Four Door.
The earlier models are not wholly interchangable with the later model (maybe on Traveller), I belive the rear wheel arch area internally was modified in respect to side trim which gave slightly different profiles.

Re: Seat fitment question.
I need a pair of pale blue front seats for my 2 door saloon. I found a set of duotone blue seats on ebay but they're from a four door, hence my query. Obviously if the rear seats wouldn't fit then the seats on ebay would be no use to me as the back seat wouldn't match.

Re: Seat fitment question.
I've noticed on my four door saloon the front seats tip up to give access to the rear....(?)

Well, all fronts tip, the fully folding may or may not be original fitment, but they can be preferable as use if they can be found.
normally useful to fit any fronts that fit, then refurbish your existing ones with new webbing, foam, hair and rubbers.
I'm short of front blue seats at present.

the rear seat from a 4 door will fit in a 2 door, however the profile in the front corners is wrong, but it does not stop them fitting.
