Thanks for that info and pictures, they look pretty good and better still if they do the job. I did ask Esm about mirrors but they didn't mention your type. Maybe I'll give them another call. I'm becoming more doubtful about my idea but may see it through now started, although If I could replicate your setup I would certainly consider it..

Just noticed, your mirrors look outward of the highest point of the wing curve, with the effect of moving the mirror out. ( last picture ) Mine are at the highest point.
