Fuel Pump

That's the one, don't throw away the old one since its quite possible it can be repaired to just as good as new with a new diaphraghm and points (or basically a repair kit).

The original pumps are perfectly fine.
If your pump is clicking with no fuel flow (filter already checked) its the diaphragm.
If there is no clicking it should be just a points set required.
Both available at the pre mentioned site.
Bit of a fiddle but easy enough..

When striping down something you are unsure of use your phone and that pictures you can refere back to.

Now you say easy, but for someone who has never done anything mechanical... A bit of a challenge.... BUT thanks to all your advice on here a task I have successfully completed. So thanks everyone!

Will put a photo of old pump on so I can get clear advice on where I need to clean contacts etc.
