Looked everywhere but can't find an answer, gonna try and keep it simple...
Fitting electronic ignition kit (comes with new coil)
Cars wired negative earth
25D distributor
Current coil is Lucas (sw/cb type)
Low tension wire from dizzy goes to coil SW (positive)
White wire from loom goes to CB (negative)
Now, the kit says fit red to positive, along with ignition wire,
So, can I just swap the white wire from loom to positive on the new coil?
ignition question

Re: ignition question
Being changed to negative earth, the wires would have been switched on the coil right?
Making the SW negative instead of positive
And CB now positive instead of negative.
Does that sound correct?
I dont want to damage the new kit wiring it wrong.
