No it was not!Richards lowering was done with stronger T bars
It was lowered in 1970 using the original torsion bars and 'uprated' dampers and stayed like that until the restoration was completed 16 years ago. At that point I fitted the Marina van torsion bars, but the amount of lowering is the same.
Always made sure that the front, reshaped, bump stops were intact, and have never had any problems with the inner wing or anything else - oh, and on 3 of the 4 ways we can go out of our village there are a series of quite severe speed bumps!
