Moggy Madness!!
I was browsing good old eBay the other day, and there's some marvellous retro stuff on there (and stuff best forgotten), I saw this gem from the past-the pop group Madness released the single 'Driving in my car' on picture disc and it featured a Minor convertible which was a bit shabby,I saw the music video and a white tidy convertible was used. What information is there on the cars used for this? Just curious!

Re: Moggy Madness!!
Hi,
Great bit of trivia!
It can't have been that 'shabby' to take the weight of all of them, including one sat on the bonnet!
Mind you the suspension looks a bit 'compressed' by them all!
Perhaps they did her up and painted her white for the video -- are Madness closet Morris Minor enthusiasts???
Send a message to their website and ask ...........
Best wishes,
Mike. (Madness fan

There are two tourers used in the video - the late one used for the driving shots, and an earlier model with no engine which gets dropped from the roof at the end (and gets run into by the late car in one shot to illustrate 'a little knock'.)
