Shocking van!

Post by surfergirl »

Hi Folks,
Anyone know if other tele shockers fit the moggy van, the outer shroud is rotting out on mine, dont think they will make it through another mot. I wondered if they were the same fit as some more common cars that might be stocked by local spares shop.
I try and shop local if I can before going to the net, although this far down the line its getting harder!
Cheers

Van passed the MOT today and the shocks were fine, I was sure they wouldnt pass this year. Still trying to find a pair.

Didn't someone mention something about some Volvo shock absorbers being the same?

..or have I been out in the sun too long?
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Have a look on the lcv register website, I think old Escort ones fit as well but it has been discussed on there. When you take your old ones off be careful because I don't think the top fixings are available now, just an approximation.
