year of manufacture

Does anyone know how I find out the year of manufacture of my morris minor? date of registration on the V5 logbook is 16/11/61.

You could request a heritage certificate from Gaydon,

Looks like current cost is £41.

This will show:
Make & Model
Car/Chassis Number
Engine Number
Body Number
Specification
Colour
Date of Build
Date of Dispatch
Destination Dealer

etc

There may be other ways, this is how I got my car information

If it's just the year of manufacture you need you can tell this from the chassis number (you will need to provide this to Gaydon to obtain a heritage certificate).
