Now that my old grease gun with its flexi nozzle has wheezed its last, I'm having difficulty greasing my top trunnions!
Could anyone recommend a small grease gun that is able to grease a rear-facing nipple, either from inside the wheelarch or from outside above the wheel?
Alternatively, is there a right-angled nipple conversion available? My old van used to have top grease nipples that pointed upwards and towards the wheel, which made greasing easy, but I forgot to take them off before I sold it. Does anyone know if these are still available?
Cheers all

Angled grease nipples are available from the likes of Bullmotif or ESM Pt No: SUS198 (1/4" UNF) or SUS198A (5/16" UNF). Any good motor factors should hold them as well as right angled ones.
As regards the grease gun you cannot do better than a WANNER 315, made in Switzerland as well. I have had my WANNER 315 grease gun for very many years and I consider it the best. Several on 'e' bay at the moment.
You should be able to turn the grease nipple to get better access. Make sure that you do not over tighten and shear the thread off the nipple. May be better to undo slightly.

I grease the suspension at the same time as adjusting the brakes whilst the wheel is off. No problem with a flexible nozzle on the grease gun

I bought one from Machine Mart, it comes with a flexible pipe and a rigid one to offer the best of both worlds.

Re: Grease monkey - trunnions
My grandad's Wanner grease gun does the job as it's nice and small, but I prefer to use a nice big modern gun with flexi hose... I can get a lot more grease in it - the wanner kept running out when running 4 minors on the road it took a lot of grease (those were the days!)
for stubborn nipples - it's possible to put the big gun on the floor and seriously lean on the lever! I dread to think what the pressures are as when doing this the (rather tight) flexi hose nuts start to weep!

Well, I needed every spare psi for the Trabi's trunnion on lower left side this year (had stood for 5 years).
