Headlights; Sealed beam Vs H4's

Post by OWmoo »

One of my sealed beam headlamps has blown (on dip). Is it possible to get a replaceable H4 bulb type instead? Any advice on this subject very welcome.

It's not just the bulb, you need the complete reflector and lens as well, but thereafter you can get the bulbs on their own. You must replace both sides (lamp units) at the same time, not have on1 H4 and 1 SB. There are two styles of H4 lenses: A cheaper flatter one that IMHO does not look right, and the Wipac QuadOptics with a cirved lenses that closer matches the old SN shape. Both work, so personal preference applies.
