Genuine 1951 MM convertible listed in 'cars for sale'

Post by busguy »

Genuine MM convertible, car number 108352 built July 25/26th 1951, is for sale in the 'cars for sale' section.

This is quite a rare specification car, one of the few surviving UK spec tourers built nearly 63 years ago, with the then recent UK spec of high headlight wings, but also still with the early shorter bonnet which was discontinued a month later. It is also one of a batch in the period that left the factory with painted hub caps instead of chrome, owing to a shortage of chromium materials at the time. There is some history, including old MOT's from the 1990's before it went to Jersey for a few years, and was then dry stored. The remedial work on the brakes has been done, with four new wheel cylinders being fitted. Trafficators work, along with added flashers for safety.
I am looking for £5750 but will consider offers around the asking price.

I am only selling as I am moving house! :(

Thanks Chris. I like 'Thames Blue' too!
Although it has had paintwork done, it appears to be the original ex-factory specification colour.
