battery terminals

Hi
My battery terminals are the at the front, they are so close to the retaining bar and it concerns me.
Apart from a new battery is there a simple answer

Turn the battery round...... Just move the earth connection, but of course you may need to fit a longer cable to the solenoid.

A thin strip of rubber matting ( or DPC damp proof course... building material from the local builders skip ) is another substitute.
Put it under the right angled retaining bar, on top of the battery edge, with sufficient "over lap " between it and the terminals.
Replace the existing battery with the correct type when it has had it's day.You may or may not need to replace the main battery leads at that time as indicated in Roy's post.

Change the car polarity and turn the battery around :-?

Indeed! If the car is +ve earth, this would be a good time to change it - and then no new cables required. Although...the +ve and -ve terminal posts are different size, so it will depend if the terminals can be taken off the cables and swapped over.......

ive put duck tape over the bracket works for me :D

No sure if duct tape is thick enough to ENSURE no contact. You need to think about an emergency stop situation... Good thick rubber strip would be fine.
