Which Jubilee clips for corrugated air intake pipe.

Post by bluegrass »

I am missing the two Jubilee clips holding down the large corrugated air intake pipe in the engine bay.

Does anyone know which clips and size are best.

Thanks for any help.

Not Jubilee clips!

Just a metal loop affair with an annoyingly sml bolt to secure.
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

I think you can manage fine without a clip at all!

If it is the clip securing the heater air inlet pipe in the engine bay they are available from Moss Europe Pt No: AHH5714. The bolt, washers and nut are also available from Moss Europe.

I know it is MG/Sprite but I am pretty certain that the heater air inlet pipe in the engine bay is the same diameter as the Minor.

Those are the straps that hold the pipe to the inner wing. What I want is the the clips that secure it at each end to (a) the front panel, and (b) the heater. A well known supplier claims to offer the clips, but they are nothing like the originals - twice as broad, twice as thick, and secured by turning what looks like a sardine key! I sent them back. If anyone finds the correct article, I'd be delighted to know about it.

He said he wanted the clips holding the pipe down, which would be the ones shown in Phils link.
