Where can I do the RAC numberplate check? As I'm from Holland, I don't know the exact regulations in Britain

This registration was first made available in 1955.The original office for this letter combination is Sheffield
If you want more info then you can send £5 to the DVLA with a letter stating that you own the car and are interested in the previous keeper's details.
Or for about £25 you can write and get a Heritage Certificate detailing what the car left the factory with.
