Whereabouts Of 758 DRV Morris Traveller

Post by Morris Mike »

I was reading an old copy on the Minor Matters from July/Aug 2007.

There was an article about a Morris Minor Traveller Almond Green reg no 758 DRV, that was found with only 210 miles on the clock.

It was described as the best original one in the world.

Is this vehicle owned by a club member.?

Has anyone seen it lately.?

Morris Mike.

If the tax is free, no reason to de-licence it.

If post '73 vehicle, "de-licenced" would be recorded as the vendor/owner, or
whoever, would claim back 7/8mths duty from DVLA.

Sort of but I'd still think they'd update their records or even delete them, if it has been permanently exported.

KDG 219V was exported in '87, now back in Blighty.

Thankfully never removed from DVLA records.

Hundreds of time expired trucks are exported, I suppose
it's easier to enter Y than erase the details(?)
