series two fuel tank sender unit

Post by frantam93 »

Im not having a lot of luck trying to source a series two fuel sender unit for my Pick up. I was wondering if it would be possible to fit a later sender unit and also fit the later fuel gauge a matched pair, could this work ?

I think it should work, the gauge will be Black not Gold though.
The sender will have spade terminals instead of studs.

It will work - but you also need the 10v voltage stabiliser to supply the sender.
