Not true surely?
There is a rumour circulating that if Scotland become independent when they hold their refendum in September the MMOC plan to create a new website and forum solely for them? Also that they will be able to post only on that forum and no longer on the English one?Don't know whether it's true or just a wind-up.Would they log into http://www.scotmog.org.sc?
Anyone else heard this?

Re: Not true surely?
Of course it's not true
The MMOC has members worldwide so this isn't an 'English' forum. Some of the Scottish MMOC branches already have their own websites / forums. Where is this 'rumour' circulating?

The MMOC isn't a closed shop to UK only citizens, so not sure why it is believable tbh.

It would be nice however to encourage more interest from the North of England, Scotland and Ireland if the Nationals were held further North. Another year I won't be going - 420 miles.

Re: Not true surely?
There has been a lot of debate about it in the past, the rallies tend to be around the center of population - which, believe it or not, is pretty much Northampton.plastic_orange wrote:It would be nice however to encourage more interest from the North of England, Scotland and Ireland if the Nationals were held further North. As I understand it (and I may be wrong here) there were rallies held much further North in the past but attendance was poor.
I don't really care where the Rally is, if I can go I will, if I can't I won't. (E.g. I didn't make it to Breamore, or last years one because I was busy - and they are the closest its been since I have been a member) I have been to others further North though. But, to put it in perspective my work is nearly 300 miles from home!

I have the same problem with a petrol pump! Some say there is a special button in the kiosk that clicks the pump over that extra penny.
Or is that as daft as thinking the Scottish will have their own exclusive website ?

Tysonn described it as English. Personally I would describe it as an international forummargriff wrote: Of course its not an English forum. Its a British forum, BRITISH, BRRRITISSSHHHHH!!!!!!!
