Meets in derby??

Post by samir »

Hi about 2 -3 months ago there was a meet on a Sunday outside the derby owners club, I was on my way to my uncles garage -to work on my recently purchased morris - which is near enough next door, I was so surprised to see how many minors had turned up, what I'm asking is when will there be another meet there? As I would love to come down.

Regards

I think you mean the club open day last October?

There is a Morris spares day / autojumble planned for probably October but details have not been announced yet:

Keep an eye out on here or in Minor Matters for any updates :D

Ah right, I did go over and talk to a few people. They said they have this meet twice a year, would there Be anything like that sooner? I think I should sign up to get a copy of minor matters to keep me updated on things like this. 8)

Hi Samir,

I don't know who you were talking to but there are not regular meets at Derby, mainly because the logistics are too difficult. The club are looking at ways forward, though, and LouiseM is right a spares day/autojumble is being planned, it won't be at Derby, though, not enough room. If you are close to the Derby office why not pop in and speak to the staff there, they would be happy to help you with your membership and then you would receive the club's bi monthly magazine Minor Matters which will keep you up to date with what's happening.
