Ours needs upgrading.

I did see somewhere clayton are making upgraded matices for the round type.

And another recent thread had a link to a Co making new fans for them. As I remember - the old round heater worked well enough - with a winter thermostat in the head, and no fan on the water pump. No 'fresh air' of course - but that's what the quarter lights are for! On later cars that I ran - the heater from an Austin/Morris 1100 was a great thing - enormous heat output. Sadly they seem to be impossible to find these days - but if you do find one - it is a fantastic heater.
