hi there are 2 stickies at the top of the electrical page with diagrams for whole car and for alternator you wil just have to modify slightly for your indicator set up by putting the indicator switch before indicator unit then will be a non flashing supply which you can take to trafficators then also take to 2 indicator units and then to the normal indicators this is the only way i can think to do it unless anyone else has done something similar, only downside is you need 2 indicator units , if you anywhere near me i could help

just drawn this out , not the best but hope it helps, if it usefull moderators might want to add it to the stickies nearly forgot it will also need left and right warning lights , you can make 1 warning light work by taking feed from left and right indicators to opposite sides of same warning light and not using an earth on it

Jim - somehow my post seemed to come after your diagram - I don't know how, I didn't see it when I posted. Your diagram does show a way to do the job and will be fine as long as two flasher units are acceptable. :) I don't think there is any need to be quite as nippy!!! I never let the forums become personal.

Because 99% of all alternators are for -ve earth use. Only v early (and now hard to find) 11 AC were ever available for +ve earth use.

I think you are mis-interpreting ... It needs to be -ve earth for an alternator........ Otherwise - no matter (except for wireless etc,,)

You won't find a loom with both trafficators and indicators - so you will need an alternator loom , which will come with indicators -and then add in the trafficators. I dare say someone will make you a special loom - but at some cost. If it was me - I would either patch up the loom you have, or make a new loom myself - it is one of the simplest cars and it's not difficult to make a loom.
