I always look forward to the club magazine dropping on the doorstep.
Even more so when a very rare typo appears.
From the editor on the inside cover states quite unequivocally, that Ray Newells award of club personality of the year,............"could not be appropriate"
Never you mind Ray, keep it anyway
I saw that too, made me chuckle, poor old Ray............. (I'm sure he'll get his own back)..............
1954 Series 2: 4 door: "Sally" -- Back on the ground with (slave) wheels, now being sprayed by me, slowly......
1970 Triumph Herald 1200: "Hetty" -- Driven back from Llangollen in Wales (twice.....)
1952 Morris Minor MM highlight with sidevalve engine still fitted, wants work, so joins the queue for now......
Its not often I get a laugh out loud moment with the club mag, excellent though it is, but that certainly acheived it!
cheers
Iain
