The starter dog is a real so and so to remove you will need to wedge the flywheel ring gear (as you have the gearbox out) and either fit a large spanner and use a hammer or piece of tube over the spanner to get extra leverage it can be really tight. There are other methods as well that I cant remember at the moment.

Put a socket or ringspanner on the nut part of the dog, wedge it against something soild or the ground and press the starter, BUT keep it clear of anything breakable or bendable as it moves with a lot of force.

Correct size is 3/4 inch Whitworth.
I use a shortened 3/4"Whit. ring spanner and a few knocks with a 4lb hammer usually does the trick rather than progressive leverage.

Yes, I find it better to 'shock' it undone.

i've removed it so i may chang th etiming chain (for a duplex one) and i'm surprised, i saw tensionners in the schem but i only found one broken in the engine.

So i have some questions...
- Need i them with a duplex chain?
- When reassembling, the nut has to screwed back but how heavy? If i do it to heavy, turning on the engine will be impossible.

It should be as tight as you can get it as the starting handle will tighten it up like that anyawy. You don't need tensioner ring with a Duplex chain but you do need two with a single row chain.
