Indicator switch cover screws
Does anyone know the size and thread of the three small screws that hold on the bakelite indicator switch cover? I assume they are Whitworth/BSF, since no US or metric screws want to fit properly.

Hi Fin,
They are most likely to be BA (British Association) couldn't definitely say what size they are, but at a guess they could be 4ba. Nearest metric equivalent for 4ba is 3mm.
Sorry Fin, Les is right they are self tappers, I blame the festivities......

Re: Indicator switch cover screws
As they screw into detachable clips (mind gone blank, can't think of the name for those bent bits of metal) then if necessary, you could remove the existing clips and fit new ones to suit whatever screws you like. That said, all you need is number 6 self tapper. ideally 3/8 inch, but 1/2 inch will fit quite happily.
