hose sizes?

Post by CaliMorris »

I'm working on getting this old 1959 Morris minor 1000 going, but almost every hose is missing/cut. Which of these hoses are custom made magic that need to be ordered from a part store? Also, which of these is just a standard hose I can buy by the foot from an auto parts store? If I can just order all the hoses by the foot, what diameter are they?

The top and bottom rad hoses are specific shapes - so probably best to buy the correct hoses - but I suppose no harm trying hose from a parts store. Just measure the stubs to get the size!

Buy 3 or 4 yards/metres of 1/2" / 15mm heater hose and cut off the lengths you need, including for the by-pass hose.
