RAIN X or similar (use it inside?)

Post by lambrettalad »

Until I get a new heated rear screen I'm thinking of using Rain x on the inside to help stop the steaming up ,will it work?

All thoughts welcome

They do an anti fog product too;

I'd suggest using it on the front and rear screens so you can judge if it's working or not.
Make sure water isn't leaking in and making the carpets damp.
Clean windows and a bit of fresh air help as well.

RainX meant for the exterior screen/s works well - never used it inside so can't comment but it help rain water to bead up and run off the screen. The interior anti-mist RainX has never worked that well for me so Iwouldn't waste your money on this. As said before keep screens clean and dry and carry dry cloths to wipe off condensation and when possible drive with both 1/4 lights open and the interior should stay clear.

Try the old cut potato system,rub it over the screen and leave to dry,its what all the old timers used before demisters were even thought of.
