Can anyone confirm if a late 60s headlining will fit a 50s split screen model?
thanks.

Re: HEADLINING... will it fit?
It depends on the year of the 50's split screen as the headlining is the same from 1957 onwards.
Newton Commercial have just published a guide to headlining fitting which might come in useful: http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/our-blog/mo ... tructions/

Mine too! I've had a brand new headlining for over 10 years. I couldn't face fitting it to my previous Minor and I've had the current one nearly 7 years and still haven't got round to fitting it as I figure that having a nice new headlining isn't really a priority in the scheme of things. I think my next Minor will probably have to be a convertible to avoid the job completelyUfudu wrote:Fitting the headlining is probably my upcoming room 101!

The rear window is larger on the 1000, so wont fit around the small series 2 window

Stevey is right, should fit ok at the front if the shape of the plywood board is correct but way out at the rear. As has been said NC do one and that fits great. Go for it.

Should be ready for tea time.
