Headlight not working

Hello having some problems with my drivers side headlight. Was working before the respray took them out and installed them back after the paint. It came on for a bit but was dim and now it does not want to come on at all, can anyone help me I'm new to the morris world. Kind regards

Check the earth connection on the inner wing (Black wires)

I was about to order a new headlight, but if it's not the earth what else do you think it could be as the car is not accessible at the moment for me to check

Any bad connection will stop it working, not just the earth side.
Paint isn't conductive to electricity!

try cleaning up the connections with a bit of emery paper

Swap the lights left/right just to check it works......
