Another throw away comment - I do not suppose the train boss has ever driven a Minor up the M1............
Whilst I have to admit to never having driven a Minor up the M1 I used to be a regular driver (twice a week) between junction 6 (M5) and junction 36 (M6) and beyond in a Minor; and yes the Minor was more reliable than the Citroen BX turbo diesel that it replaced and with the Minor I was never aware that the journey took much longer.
