If I did that on a moggie then I would have to leave the heater tap open all the time which would make summers a little warm

The return does a "straight" T to the hose on the radiator .
Does anyone have any ideas how or where to do this ?
I do, that is a much better idea than the Heath Robinson contraption I was thinking of to make. The flow would in theory be a little on the light side for the vapouriser I'm useing. On the other hand I could fit a solenoid into the output and wire it into the circuit. This would mean that all starts would be on petrol in winter but that's not so terrible ..Alec wrote:Hello JM,
do you still have the blank at the front of the cylinder head? , i.e. no extra temperature gauge. If so you could screw in a pipe adapter (3\8" BSP as a guess?) and take your feed from there.
