Traveller wing piping

Post by redduster »

What colour should the wing piping be for our 1971 Aqua Traveller?
Presume both front and rear wings have this fitted or is it just the rear ones?
Thanks :)

The piping is on rear wings only. You can use whichever colour you prefer :D

It should be Aqua coloured, but you can only get the common '60s colours in new wing piping so its whatever you think looks best. Black, white, grey, or Almond green perhaps.....
(I have a similar problem from the other end of production inthat I need Romain green piping for a '49 saloon. May have to paint some to suit.....)
cheers

There was a chap called Frank who has a 1948 Lowlight that had a batch of wing piping made in Romain green for his car so may well have enough left to help you out
PM Mike Perry and he will pass his details on to you if you ask nicely! :D
