My car is sitting on 155x80R13 minilites, I don't think they look to small, I have read lots of negative things about 13" Alloys but these suit my standard 948cc old girl well.
What do you think? Please be honest, I can take criticism [frame][/frame]

Every day is a day closer to death, live for today for soon be forgotten
well if you happy that's all that matters, only thing I feel re 13 inch is they don't fill the wheel arch fully, but if you drop the front one spline and the rear springs are used I not new then they look fine...
165/80x13 has very close to the same rolling diameter as the original tyres, 520x14. Also, not being low profile, they tend to handle road "irregularities" in a kinder fashion. On the down side, they are not as precise in their handling.
It is all a matter of personal driving style and choice. If you are happy, that is good.
The profile pic below shows 14", the 13" mags ( a really cheap auction find) are on the other vehicle that I haven't yet taken latest photos of.
I used to use 13 inch - tyres easier to obtain, slightly lower COG = better handling. However, I now prefer 14 inch which give slightly better ground clearance. However, there is not a right or wrong, it's what you want for your car.
Hi,
As has been said, it's your car go with what you like.
Though, as the car hasn't been modded to death, I'd hang onto the original wheels in case a future purchaser wants the option of swapping back.
Or even sell it with originals refitted and sell the minilites separately (or hang onto them for another car).
Best wishes,
Mike.
