windscreen wipers

i just added some new wiper blades
and i cant get the near side to clear the window very well....
it just misses the centre ...
tried bending it etc etc
any clues :x

Move it round one spline?
Maybe clean the windscreen with some alcohol, meths, not vodka!
What screenwash are you using?

Take the blade off again and bend it outwards in that area considerably - but not too crazy. I have had similar problems.

Buy decent blades..... the 'stainless/chrome' ones are often useless.

Indeed I ended up buying cheap replace ment rubbers for my brand new out of the box wipers which I might add were solid as a rock
And low and behold there better than the ones on my honda so
Now thehonda isfitted with the cheapo ones you cut the rubbers to size
Therefore buy the larger set, all one price, and you end up with 4 new blades ,simple s

Put slight pressure on the arm while you test it with a wet screen. If it clears better then you need a new spring.

Clean the screen, and treat with RainX - it works.

i changed the wiper arm (which was a tex) for a cheap one....
put the new blade in that....
guess what happened :roll: ......
