Spring hanger bracket locating rivet replacement
I've finished putting the rear floor pans in and in the process the rivets that secure the front of the spring hanger to the floor pan have been removed. Any ideas about replacing them? I've asked around and the general consensus is to fill them with weld-I was thinking of using small dome head Allen key bolts, any other ways of doing this- I'm not going to re-rivet them.

If you are not going to replace the rivets (these were at front and back) then why not fit a nut and bolt, tighten then weld the nut. An alternative is to drill through and plug weld from above and below.

Ok I think I'll use bolts and cut them so the nut is inside the car and weld it to the bolt, thanks
