It's blowing a bit in London at the moment, not much rain yet.
Some strong gusts but I don't see any damage locally.
By locally I mean looking out the window

If you are north of Birmingham you won't have seen anything!

Here, a few leaves have fallen off the trees and there's a massive puddle on the main road. I thought the garage had exploded, but it was only the wheelie bin that blew over, so this could be taken as a yardstick for 'storm' classification. Lee I think you will be better off with a large sack and broom.

Re: No storms yet in the north west of England
I obviously didn't look carefully enough, a good sized bough had come off a tree in my garden and was resting on my and my neighbours sheds.
A bit of work with the chainsaw and now it's just on my shed, very glad I just replaced most of the roof with OSB board so it hasn't gone through.
If tomorrow is dry I'll be extreme gardening on the shed roof, chainsaw in hand.
Maybe I'll get my girlfriend to video the action, might go viral on you tube and pay for the hospital
