vibration

went out today when the car is at idle
there is a lot of vibration..
which wasn't there before.
what could be the cause :-?

Does it otherwise run ok?? We need more info than this ! Could be fouled plug/burned valve/blown head gasket - choke left on too long.......or a whole raft of ignition problems. You can be SURE it's not the coil........ :wink:

yes roy its not the coil :lol:
it runs ok other than the vibration.
plugs ok
headgasket ok
choke ok.
what ignition problems could it be...

a little choke first thing ,turn the key..
fires up no trouble...

If all ok - fine tune the idle !!

the idle seems fine.
my thoughts were engine mounts etc :-?

The idle can't be 'fine' if there is vibration..... Any chance the flywheel is coming loose?? Consider removing the starter - and having a wiggle at the flywheel........
