Not neccesarily so!. We had a request in 2009 looking for their father's car. Just recently answered by new owner who had been restoring the car and joined this forum and seen the request.. The car had been off the road so long it wasn't on the DVLA records. You may be lucky but sometimes takes time. Good luck in your search.
